You may have experienced this very often in your life, You are falling sick a little too often and feel irritated and uptight all the time, drained energy and lethargy. You are not able to sleep and function properly and no matter what you do, your body and mind seem to be in a constant state of exhaustion and tiredness. If you seem to relate to all the above signs and symptoms, maybe it is time to clean your aura.

what is an Aura

There is an ‘aura’, an electromagnetic field that surrounds our physical body and is made up of a few layers. These layers are invisible to the eye (to all but a few people with extrasensory abilities can see it),  each layer represent our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health and well being. They are an intrinsic part of our being, just as important as our physical body, and they react to our internal and external environment.

So why would you need to cleanse your aura? 

All of us radiate and Vibrate on a level of energy, and this energy vibrates at different frequencies and speeds from person to person depending on our thoughts, words and experiences. We tend to get back whatever energy we put out into the Universe. Positive energy operates on a higher frequency, making us feel lighter, happier and healthier. Meanwhile operating on a low frequency can leave us feeling drained. We are more receptive to getting sick, feeling depressed and attracting the wrong types of people into our life. The good thing is that – we can keep it in our control. As our moods and thoughts change, the frequency we reflect and vibrate change too. Just like we keep our physical body checked we should always keep our spiritual body our aura checked too to keep a good balance in our mind body and soul.

Here’s a couple of simple ways to cleanse your aura at home.

Imagination & Meditation

Meditation is one of the simplistic ways to cleanse the aura, clear your energy and raise your vibration. It has long-lasting effects too. Extensive medical research points to an undeniable link between our minds and our bodies, proving that negative, suppressed thou emotions have negative effects and are toxic to our overall well-being, causing a number of physical illnesses and can cause physical illness, ⁣Research proves that holistic treatments – like meditation – are helpful to creating long-lasting solutions to both physical and mental illness.

Colour Meditation

The easiest way to release negative or stagnant and blocked energy from the auric fields is to do a colour meditation. This one can take you five minutes or thirty. It is totally up to you. also,  if crystals are your vibe, you might want to hold one in each hand or place them around the body for this. Lie down or sit comfortably.

Take long, deep breaths, counting each breath in and out up to the number ten. Become aware of the sensation of the breath and the way it relaxes your body. Placing a hand on your stomach helps too.

Once you feel relaxed, begin to feel and imagine your body from your head down. How does your body feel? Are there any new vibes – heaviness, tingling or tension? Is your jaw clenched, are your shoulders relaxed? make sure you lose your whole body each and every muscle.

As you focus down, imagine each breath is relaxing the muscles, making you sink deeper and deeper into the earth.

Now it’s time to invite a colour to your space, and whatever one comes to mind is absolutely perfect. I usually opt for Gods pure sparkling light, violet or white.

Imagine this colour fills your entire body, it’s a healing light coming from you. In this light, you feel light and weightless. It balances you as it moves around your body. It opens up space, energy and clears your mind. It protects you.

Bathing this nurturing light for as long as you need to. When you are ready, feel yourself come back into the room and open your eyes.

Take an aura cleansing bath or shower

I like to use water to both physically and energetically Aura cleanse  “I usually bless the water add pink salt and Ask the universe /God to bless the water, add a few drops of essential oils or rose water and pink salt into your bathtub, bucket or if you are taking a shower to add all of it in a jug of water and pour it on yourself and rinse it off after the shower visualise your aura is getting repaired and healed as the water drips down your body. Imagine negativity escaping your body as the water starts draining. If you are taking a bath You can start by soaking yourself in the bath for at least 10 minutes.

Also visualise, divine energy flowing through you as you clean your entire body and imagine a white bubbling light surrounding you.

Walk in the rain and close to nature

One of the easiest ways to cleanse your aura is to take a walk in the rain. Step out when it is raining quietly and close your eyes as you let the raindrops soak you completely. Imagine all the negativity and toxicity getting washed away with the rain. You can also go for a swim in a lake for a similar effect on your aura or walk barefoot on the sand closer to the lake, ocean or river. However, make it a point to avoid this process when rain is accompanied by thunderstorms, Prayer and positive affirmations It is some of the most effective methods of aura cleansing. Sit in a quiet place and pray to the higher self/universe/God. Close your eyes and start chanting Tasbeeh, Names of God and positive affirmations that you are comfortable with. Repeat the recitation as many times as you want till the time you feel the message vibrating through your body. Do this daily to strengthen your energy field.
